Erectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is the persistent inability to maintain an erection to perform sexual intercourse. The ability to maintain an erection depends on the interaction of the nervous system, hormones and the blood vessels.

ED may occur because of issues in one or more of these systems. There are numerous treatments, including medication, medical devices and surgical solutions.
